Bad Systems Not To Download
(This page is a supplement to the Rebuilding
Your Dead Daewoo, and Software Update pages)
Over the years users have stumbled across a number of sites that have versions of the system software for the Daewoo on them. However, not all of these systems are good for you. At this point the best English system I know of is here.

I do not know the URL were this was found, since I just wanted to forget about it. I found this, and when I downloaded it, it was my first discover of how to trash you system. This is discussed here. So, thought the Daewoo and Teknema units are based on the same hardware, don't go downloading a Teknema system unless you have time, and a copy of the rebuild directions.

When you boot up the built-in system, as described on the rebuild directions, you are given the opportunity to download these files. The first is a Korean(?) system, and may be a consideration as an alternative to the English system on the update page, but I can't make heads or tails of it. The second downloads, and then says "Invalid File" instead of asking if you want to update.
