Hi,

In December of 1998 I purchased a Daewoo unit, model DSN-300A (also known as: Green Net.TopBox & iNet.Top.Box) from OnSale.COM ($91 plus $17.50 S&H), Total = $108.50.

Sadly disappointed in the realization that this unit fell far below it's potential, I spent some effort attempting to figure it out - and almost returned it. These pages are part of that effort. It is my hope that those of us that have one of these machines can get something out of it it if we work together.

Just so you have some context for my comments, I've been programming computers for 20 years. That is to say, I am a bit of a geek, rather than a novice to computers. If it was this hard for me, I suspect there are a few others out there that could use some help as well.

Special thanks to William Woods, who seems to love this stuff and knows a lot. Without his feedback about how to fix my dead unit, I would have sent it back (since I had an RMA number!)

Should you like to know a bit more about me, you can visit my home page at http://www.forus.com/csm.

Regards,
Cris Mooney
